Cisco Pride Sponsorship Advertisement

In 2019, Cisco received a 100% on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index for the 15th year in a row.  To celebrate this achievement Cisco sponsored the HRC Gala and placed an advertisement in the event program.

 
 

The challenge

Time was not on my side. This was last minute project. Furthermore, little direction was provided.

Cisco had recently launched the “Bridge to possible” campaign. The broad concept behind the campaign is Cisco is the bridge between the idea and the solution. This provided the perfect vehicle for the message I wanted say, which was innovation happens when everyone is given an opportunity to share their ideas, and Cisco is place where that happens.

Using a type-driven design solution allowed me to create an ad that is uniquely Cisco, without having to rely on stock imagery.

 
 
 
 

Results

The ad was very well received, so much so that the design was used on additional collateral. For pride month, the design was used for a new pride-themed t-shirt for employees. Additionally, the design was also applied to Cisco’s float at London Pride 2019.
